KVELERTAK guitarist Vidar Landa met James Hetfield when the Metallica frontman came to see his band at a club in San Francisco. The Norwegian metal act - who are also a favorite of the guys in Mastodon, Converge, and Ghost, among other bands - went on to play multiple shows with Metallica, including the historic gig at London’s O2 Arena in 2017 which broke the venue’s attendance record.
